OUR COVID POLICY- PLEASE READ BEFORE VISIT!

Southwest Animal Hospital COVID policy:


We are opening the clinic to clients starting 2/26/24 and are happy to welcome everyone back inside! For the heatlh and safety of staff & patients, we are following these rules for visits:


--Persons entering the building need to wear a surgical-type mask for the entire visit, even if just to use the restroom.

--We offer both in-clinic and curbside appointments, at your preference.

--Those who do not wear masks will be curbside appointments only.

--Anyone with cold/flu symptoms or fever will need to reschedule their appointment. Please call ahead to reschedule, to avoid last-minute cancellation fees. 

--A maximum of 2 clients will fit into our exam rooms for in clinic appointments; additional people will need to wait outside of the clinic during the appointment. 

--Clients are asked to remain in the exam room for the entire appointment, unless requesting to use the restroom. For long appointments, clients may be able to wait in their car as well. As masks need to remain in place, please do not bring food/drinks into the building. 

--For both in-clinic and curbside appointments, we ask that you call us from the parking lot when you arrive. We will meet you at the front door. From there we'll bring your pet inside (for curbside appts) or both you and your pet (for in clinic appointments), directly into the exam room.  All pets need to be in a secure carrier, not loose in your arms.
